University Experience

I'm currently a Junior majoring Computer Science and minoring in Management Information Systems at Santa Clara University

This path lets me dive deep into both worlds;

  1. The engineering side, where I learn how computers work, how computing systems are built and optimized to deliver results to the user
  2. The business side, focusing on case studies in information systems, database management, and IT, while also following an MBA-style curriculum in management, marketing, and financial strategy

Balancing both has been challenging but incredibly rewarding

It's taught me how to think like an engineer while making decisions like a business leader

Santa Clara Investment Fund is a student-run investment fund that invests university endowment capital into public equities

  • The fund is organized by sectors, and I work within the Technology team analyzing companies across software, semiconductors, infrastructure, and emerging trends

Since joining, I've learned how to

  • Break down how a business actually makes money, grows, and defends its market position
  • Evaluate financial statements, valuation, and the key drivers behind stock performance
  • Turn messy information into a clear investment thesis with risks, catalysts, and conviction
  • Defend ideas under pressure and communicate recommendations to a team

More than anything, it taught me how to operate in a highly motivated team in a high-stakes environment

The Latinx Business Student Association provides mentorship, professional development, community, and career opportunities to Latinx students at Santa Clara

  • It's provided me with so much mentorship in the past and connections to professionals in various industries

I currently serve as VP of External Affairs, where I build partnerships with companies across consulting, finance, and tech to create opportunities for students.

  • This involves managing relationships with 20+ F500 companies, leveraging those relationships to host recruiting events, office tours, and career guidance for 100+ Latinx students

This involvement has allowed me to give back to the community while developing leadership skills and cultural awareness that enhance my professional capabilities

Chalkboard is a selective community of student builders and founders at Santa Clara focused on entrepreneurship, ambitious projects, and creating things outside the classroom.

  • I was invited to join through my background in venture and product work, and it quickly became one of the most valuable communities I've been part of

Chalkboard showed me how powerful it is to be surrounded by people who are serious about building and growing as individuals

  • It also directly led to major opportunities for me, joining CrawlAI through the network, and later launching Parkd alongside other students in the group

In the past, I volunteered as an undergraduate advisor for BEACH (Bronco Entrepreneurs' Applied Collaboration Hub)

  • I worked with cross-functional teams of law and business students to provide legal recommendations for startups and small businesses

This program allows me to gain real-world hands-on experience in client management, collaborative problem-solving, and providing valuable business and legal recommendations to entrepreneurs
