About Me

Henrique Oliveira

I'm a junior at Santa Clara University studying Computer Science and Finance, with a minor in Mathematics.

I am from São Paulo, Brazil, and moved with my family to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2015. Growing up in Silicon Valley while coming from Latin American immigrant household gave me a unique perspective:

I've always been surrounded by innovation and technology, while also carrying the values of resilience, community, and adaptability that my family brought with us.

Outside of school and work, I'm usually playing guitar, playing chess or being outdoors.

Looking ahead, I'm excited to keep growing as a product-minded engineer and future product manager, with a focus on solving problems that matter and working with teams to bring ideas to life.

Work Experience

I've worked across startups, venture capital, and university organizations, gaining hands-on experience at the intersection of business and technology.

From sourcing startups at Battery Ventures and guiding product development at Permiso, to founding my own startup, Parkd, I've built a track record of working with teams to tackle analytical challenges.

At Santa Clara University, I advise entrepreneurship and investing groups, and volunteer in Latinx student organizations, where I focus on mentorship and community. Check out more of my work below.

Projects

I'm teaching myself to code through project-based learning and sharing my builds here as I go.

My main project so far is Parkd, a startup I co-founded to streamline university parking systems.

This website is another project; my way of experimenting with HTML/CSS while creating a space to showcase my work.

As I keep learning, I'll be adding hackathons, side builds, and new experiments along the way. See more below.

Publications

I've been trying to publish more to better showcase my work, thoughts, and experiences.

On my Substack, Growing Exponentially, I share essays on AI, startups, cybersecurity, and broader tech trends. I've also co-authored research and memos for the Santa Clara Investment Fund.

This mix of personal reflection and industry analysis reflects how I like to connect practical experience with deeper analysis.
